Complete Driver Education (Premium Package)
  • The Premium Package is for the active and very busy teens, who want off hours driving Lessons.(Those who would like to complete their hours within the shortest time period due to their busy schedules, boarding school status or have had their learners permit for more than 6 months and are limited by time.
    In this package you will have dedicated Customer service support to schedule your lessons at your convenience to support your Active lifestyle.

     

    PACKAGE INCLUDES:

    • 30 Hours Classroom portion of drivers Ed. All Student must be 15 years, 9 months to begin Classroom portion of driver Ed
    • Behind the wheel lessons spread over two (2) months or as preferred. With a professional driving school Instructor in a state approved vehicle
    • 6 Hours In-Car Observation (Student observes another student driver in the presence of an Instructor.
    • 2 Hour Parent/Guardian Class This Must be completed before students can schedule their behind-the-wheel hours.

     

      This Package Does Not Include the following items:

      • Certificate of Completion This is purchased before a student (under 18) can schedule a road test. It can either be added on now, or purchased through your portal later.
      • Road Test Sponsorship This is an Optional service that can either be added-on now, or purchased through your portal later

      NOTE:

      You will not be eligible to sign up for behind the wheel lessons until you have met the obligation of attending a parent class for your child. If any lessons are created prior to proof of parent class attendance, we have the right to remove the lesson from your schedule.

      You will have a chance to practice in both Sedans and SUV’s

      A deposit of $600 is required at time of Registration.
      Balance is due prior to scheduling Behind-the-Wheels lessons.

    • This package will qualify you for the Massachusetts Driver Education Certificate of Completion. It should be completed within two years from the date of enrollment.

       

      Package Includes:

      • 30 Hours Classroom portion of drivers Ed. All Student must be 15 years, 9 months to begin Classroom portion of driver Ed
      • 12 Hours Behind-The-Wheel with a professional driving school Instructor in a state approved vehicle
      • 6 Hours In-Car Observation (Student observes another student driver in the presence of an Instructor.
      • 2 Hour Parent/Guardian Class This Must be completed before students can schedule their behind-the-wheel hours.

      Driver Education Package I (Behind the wheel only)
      • Driving Instruction/ Behind the Wheel lessons Only (For students below 18 years transferring from another driving school). This package is for students who have completed 30 hours of Classroom Instruction at a different driving school and need the requirements listed below to qualify for the Massachusetts Driver Education Certificate of Completion.

         

        PACKAGE INCLUDES:

        • 12 Hours Behind-the-Wheel
        • 6 Hours In-Car Observation of another Student Driver.
        • 2 Hour Parent/Guardian Class.  This Must be completed before students can schedule their behind-the-wheel hours.

         

        PACKAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

        • Certificate of Completion This is purchased before a student (under 18) can schedule a road test. It can either be added on now, or purchased through your portal later.
        • Road Test Sponsorship This is an Optional service that can either be added-on now, or purchased through your portal later.

        NOTE:

      Driver Education Package II (Classroom only)
      • This package is for students who have completed 12 hours of Behind-the-Wheel Instruction at a different driving school or students; who would like to take their behind the wheel lessons in another driving school and need the requirements listed below to qualify for the Massachusetts Driver Education Certificate of Completion.

         

        PACKAGE INCLUDES:

        • Behind the wheel lessons spread over six (6) months (limited scheduling)
        • 30 Hours Classroom. Student must be 15 years, 9 months to begin Classroom Instruction.
        • 2 Hour Parent/Guardian Class which is Required before a student can schedule their behind-the-wheel hours. This can be added-on at time of registration.

         

        PACKAGE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

        • Certificate of Completion Required to be purchased before a student (under 18) can schedule a road test. This can be added-on at time of registration.

        NOTE:

      Schedule Parents Classes

      In order for students to receive their Driver’s Ed Certificate, parents must attend a state-mandated parent orientation class.

      We offer one Virtual Parent Class each month, from 5:00-7:00 pm. Please email us for more details. Parent class should be paid for in the students portal or at the time of signing up.

      *PLEASE NOTE: Parents who have taken the class within the last 5 years for another child do not need to attend the class for their child to receive their certificate. However, they will need to email us a copy of that parents certificate for documentation.

      Learner’s permit restrictions

      Learner’s permit holders may drive when accompanied by a driver who is licensed, who is at least 21 years of age, who has at least one year of driving experience, and who is occupying a seat beside the driver.

      A permit holder who is under the age of 18 may not drive between the 12:00 am (midnight) and 5:00 am unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian, who is licensed with at least one year of driving experience and whose license or right to operate is not revoked or suspended.
      The permit holder may not operate in another state if it is in violation of that state’s law.
      The holder of a motorcycle learner’s permit (Class M) may not carry passengers and may not operate after sunset or before sunrise.
      The permit holder must have the learner’s permit when driving.

      Driver’s Education Requirements

      Completion of a driver’s education program is required of all Class D and M license applicants under the age of 18. To be eligible for a driver education certificate, you must complete the following:

      Classroom Instruction:
      30 hours consisting of Massachusetts motor vehicle law and safe and proper operation of a vehicle.

      Motor vehicle on-road instruction:
      18 hours of instruction in a training vehicle including a minimum of 12 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction and 6 hours of observation while another student is taking behind-the-wheel instruction.

      Driver’s License Requirements

      Below are the requirements for applicants between the ages of 16½ and 18 to obtain a driver’s license:

      Have a valid learner’s permit for at least 6 consecutive months before taking the road test. (Any suspension will invalidate the permit and the 6 months will start again when the suspension has ended.)
      Maintain a clean driving record for at least 6 consecutive months before taking the road test.
      Successfully complete a driver education program, which includes 30 hours of classroom instruction; 12 hours of in-car, behind-the-wheel training; and 6 hours of in-car observation of other student drivers.
      Complete at least an additional 40 hours of supervised, behind-the-wheel driving as shown by a certified statement by a parent or guardian.
      The RMV will accept 30 hours of driving supervised by a parent or guardian if the applicant completes a driver skills development program.
      A parent or guardian must participate in 2 hours of instruction on the driver’s education course (unless they have completed one within the past 5 years).
      Pass a final exam.
